ON & BC Become Part of HST Tax System, July 1, 2010; NS Increases to 15% As part of the July 1, 2010 HST being implemented for orders to Ontario, British Columbia, Nova Scotia, we will be implementing the following changes: All orders and / or payments received and processed after 5:00 PM Central Time on June 30, 2010 which will ship to Ontario will be subject to 13% HST (where GST is normally applicable), orders to British Columbia will be subject to 12% HST (where GST is normally applicable), and orders to Nova Scotia will be subject to 15% HST (where applicable). HST will continue to be exempt where GST was previously exempt (pure .9999 silver, pure .9999 gold, pure .9995 platinum). This new HST tax structure affects customers in Ontario and British Columbia ONLY and applies to all products and services we provide (where GST is normally applicable), and the additional 2% applies to Nova Scotia ONLY. Customers who visit our store in Winnipeg and obtain product will be subject to Manitoba PST rules of 7% (where applicable), and the normal 5% GST (where applicable). Customers in AB, NU, NT, YK, SK, MB, QC, PE, NL, NB and in the United States are NOT affected by the tax system change, and orders shipped to those customers will be taxed and charged the same as has been since July 2008.
